Given two choices, as a Virginia sports fan, which would you prefer?

1) For the Cavaliers to be a regular contender for the national championship in one of the “major” sports, either football or men’s basketball, but be mediocre in everything else.

Or…

2) For UVa to be good in nearly every sport, but only compete for NCAA titles in so-called “minor” sports?
