The most recent offers for McDonough High School (Pomfret, MD) star cornerback A.J. Wallace aren’t too shabby. “Tennessee, Oklahoma, Florida, Florida State and Miami,” Wallace replied when asked what his latest offers were.

Schools love Wallace’s combination of size (6-1, 192 pounds) and speed (4.36 in the 40-yard dash). A talented tailback and cornerback in high school, schools are recruiting him as an athlete. A Deion Sanders fan, Wallace likes one position in particular.

“Schools are kind of recruiting me as an athlete right now,” said Wallace. “Team’s are saying it’s basically where I want to play. I like cornerback, but basically where they need to put me is where I’ll play.”

Wallace easily has over 20 Division 1-A scholarship offers right now. In addition to visiting the University of Maryland, he has visited the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech this year.
