General Overview

In terms of overall ratings, Virginia’s 2006 class was certainly below Al Groh and company’s previous efforts. The class finished with a No. 39 team ranking by Rivals.com and a No. 52 ranking by Scout.com. But, while this class isn’t highly rated and UVa certainly missed out on some big-time recruits, Virginia did do well in terms of filling specific needs and giving the program an infusion of overall athleticism and speed.
