It is an in-state battle right now for Highland Springs (VA) star defensive lineman Antoine Hopkins , and both Virginia and Virginia Tech will have more chances to impress this summer. Hopkins has scheduled visits to each school and is looking forward to both experiences.

“I’m going to Virginia’s big man camp on the 23rd [of June],” Hopkins noted. His teammates will be in Charlottesville for the 7-on-7 camp that day as well. “I’m not going this weekend [to the Elite Junior Day]. I’m going to Virginia Tech on July 14th. I had the option of going last weekend or next month and something came up last weekend.

“I’m just looking forward to good coaching and learning some new techniques. I want to get a nice feel for the coaches as far as their coaching strategies. And, I just want to see more of the schools.”
