Hermitage (Richmond, VA) head coach Patrick Kane boasts at least two Division 1A prospects for the 2009 recruiting class. One of the two has already picked up an official 1A offer, while the other has drawn significant interest following a productive junior season on both sides of the ball.

6-3, 185-pound Theron Norman recently landed his first official 1A scholarship offer, with more likely to come throughout his junior year.

“He went to UVa’s practice recently and visited them,” Kane said. “That’s where they extended an offer. He is also getting significant interest from ECU and Virginia Tech.”

Norman, who was clocked at 4.51 in the 40-yard dash at a local combine earlier this year, projects well on both sides of the ball on the next level.
