Western Branch (Chesapeake, VA) cornerback/wide receiver recruit Javanti Sparrow has seen his recruitment pick up within the past month. The 6-1, 190-pound junior claims to have four official scholarship offers in the fold along with two verbal offers.

Maryland, N.C. State, Penn State and West Virginia are the official offers, while the University of Virginia and Virginia Tech have verbally offered according to the speedy athlete.

“There are a lot of schools I’m considering,” Sparrow said. “I don’t have any favorites right now. Basically, a big part of where I go will be up to my family. I’m real close to them. Location is really not a big factor, but I do just want my family to be able to see me play.”
