Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) athlete Logan Thomas has quickly become one of the most highly sought after recruits in the East, having now received 16 Division 1A scholarship offers. The 6-6, 220-pound junior admits that it is “real nice” to have so many opportunities, but, with so many options, he is only focused on narrowing his list before the start of his senior year as opposed to making a summer decision.

“It is definitely to the point of seeing if I can just cut it down before next year,” said Thomas, whose offers include Auburn, Boston College, Clemson, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State, South Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest and West Virginia, among others. “I’m not sure how many I’ll narrow it down to…whether it’s five, eight or 10.”

Thomas, who claims “it is too early to tell” if any schools are certain to make his initial cut, has already visited several programs including North Carolina, Tennessee, Virginia and Virginia Tech. His most recent visit was to Knoxville for UT’s Spring Game.
