6-6, 220-pound Brookville (Lynchburg, VA) star athlete Logan Thomas , who with recent offers from Notre Dame and Connecticut is now up to 17 official scholarship offers, traveled to Blacksburg this past Saturday for Virginia Tech’s first senior camp. Overall, the visit seemed to really impress the Bees star.

“Oh, man. It was an awesome experience,” Thomas said of his time in Blacksburg. “I had a fun time. I wouldn’t have known it would be that fun going into it. I learned some new stuff, pretty much about playing tight end or H-back. I had a good time.”

Thomas had been to Virginia Tech before – he went for the Florida State football game last fall – and had already toured the campus. Saturday was the first opportunity he had to work closely with the coaches, though, and he certainly enjoyed the experience.
