This time last summer, Conner Davis , then a 6-5, 255-pound rising junior, was getting acclimated to playing offensive tackle for the first time in his high school career. Now, he only has one more year at Deep Run High School (Glen Allen, VA) before he is slated to move on to the University of Virginia, where he has accepted a scholarship offer from head football coach Al Groh.
“It’s kind of weird with how fast it goes by,” said Davis. “When I look back at my freshman year, it’s interesting to see how the program has changed. There are high expectations around Deep Run now.”
