UVa The Latest Offer For Junior Guard

Paul VI (Fairfax, VA) junior Stanford Robinson is a hot commodity among major Division 1 programs. The 6’3″, 185-pound two-guard has picked up another ACC scholarship offer, from the University of Virginia, to go along with previous ACC offers from Miami, N.C. State, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest. Current Big East and future ACC program Pittsburgh has offered, and so have Big East programs including Marquette, Rutgers, Seton Hall and Villanova.

Through six games, Robinson, who plays on a talented squad that boasts at least seven Division 1 recruits, is averaging 12.5 points and six rebounds per contest. His best game of the season came against an Episcopal squad that features Wake Forest-bound senior wing Arnaud Adala Moto and George Washington-bound senior guard Kethan Savage . Robinson had 16 points and 10 boards in the 67-59 win.

Paul VI is undefeated so far this season.

“Offensively, I am a scorer but I love to get my team involved and create shots for my teammates,” Robinson said, describing his game. “Defensively, I love to guard the best player and take charges. I’m also a great rebounding guard.”
