Yesterday was an exciting day for the University of Virginia football program and its fans, and for good reason. Known for his quickness, acceleration, and elusiveness, Smoke Mizzell impacts the game as a runner and as a receiver. The 5’10”, 190-pound tailback showed off his overall game this spring and summer, standing out at prominent camps and combines including the Richmond VTO, the Nike Camp in Baltimore, and Nike’s The Opening and Gridiron Kings events.
Smoke recently earned 5-star status from Rivals.com, but he has impressed other national sites as well, earning 4-star status from ESPN, 247Sports and Scout. He has the potential to be a dynamic player for the Wahoos.
