In-State OL Surpasses 20 Offers

Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) offensive tackle Steven Moss recently added scholarship offers from Arkansas, Connecticut, Florida State and Oklahoma, bringing the total number of offers he has received to 21. Without question, the 6’5″, 290-pound Moss is the most highly recruited offensive lineman in the state in the class of 2014.

“I’m blown away by all of the offers I’ve received,” said Moss, who is rated the no. 89 overall rising senior in the nation according to Rivals.com.

“I’m just blessed to be able to do what I do. I wouldn’t be able to do it without my strength coach, and my recruiting coach, Coach Lam.”

Auburn, Boston College, Clemson, East Carolina, Illinois, Maryland, North Carolina, N.C. State, Old Dominion, Penn State, South Carolina, Syracuse, Tennessee, Virginia, Virginia Tech, Wake Forest, and West Virginia are the other schools that have offered the Chargers starting right tackle. College coaches “said they like how mad I get,” Moss said. “They like my footwork. My toughness and my footwork are the main things most coaches say they like about me.”
