As you surely know by now, 4-star offensive line prospect Steven Moss pledged to the Hoos on Saturday morning. The Chancellor (Fredericksburg, VA) rising senior believes he effectively surprised UVa head coach Mike London and company.

“Saturday morning, I was in Coach London’s office,” Moss said, recalling his commitment. “I had on a UVa shirt under my jacket. I unzipped my jacket and told coach I had decided to become a Cavalier. Coach London and Coach Wachenheim were there. They were definitely surprised.”

Moss shared the news on Saturday with another member of Virginia’s class of 2014, Bayside (Virginia Beach, VA) 5-star safety Quin Blanding . Both players were in attendance for Virginia’s spring practice that day.
