Jack Salt considered scholarship offers from Pittsburgh and St. Mary’s. Wake Forest was in the picture as well, but when the 6’10”, 230-pound center prospect visited the University of Virginia in mid-September, his decision was clear.
“UVa was where I wanted to go. When I visited the school I knew it was where I wanted to go,” Salt wrote in an e-mail interview with TheSabre.com.
“It feels amazing to be going to UVa. I know I have a lot of improvements to be made to my game. I’m excited I have been given this opportunity to play for such a great program.”
Asked what he specifically liked about his future school, Salt wrote: “Coach Bennett and his coaching staff, the players, and academic pathway at UVa.”
