THE IMPACT OF LAST SEASON ON CLASS OF 2015 RECRUITING

Despite a 2-10 season last fall and speculation as to the job status of head coach Mike London, Virginia managed to hold on to most of its class of 2014. Offensive lineman Will Richardson, who signed with N.C. State, was the only exception. Virginia even added 4-star receiver Jamil Kamara and other promising athletes following last season. Recruiting is certainly strongpoint of London’s, but given last year’s on-field results class of 2015 recruiting will be a challenge.

We’ll have a better idea in the coming months of how much last season is truly impacting Virginia with rising high school seniors, but so far the reaction from recruits has been positive.
