Eldridge III Has Cavalier Offer

The playmaking abilities of David Eldridge III were on full display in the 2013 season, when the Kettle Run (Nokesville, VA) wide receiver racked up 1,426 all-purpose yards and scored 15 touchdowns (nine receiving, three on kick-off returns, one on an interception return and one on a punt return). The 6’0”, 170-pound junior has attracted major college interest as a result.

“David has offers from UVa, Charlotte and ODU. We are waiting on U-Conn. They seem very close. East Carolina likes him, too. They want him to come to camp, but I don’t know if he’s going to do that,” Kettle Run head coach Jeff Lloyd said.

Eldridge is not sure which college camps, if any, he will attend this spring and summer. He does plan to compete in a Rivals Camp as well as the Nike Football Training Camp in Clifton (VA) on April 26. Following those events, Eldridge says he will see what other schools are showing interest. He may make a verbal commitment this spring, but as of now nothing is definite.

“I’ll have to talk to my dad about it,” Eldridge said.
