Rising junior wide receiver prospect Joseph Reed verbally committed to the University of Virginia this past Saturday. On Sunday, after competing in Virginia’s first one-day camp of 2014, the Randolph-Henry (Charlotte Court House, VA) product explained why he chose the Cavaliers.
“I’ve wanted to come here for a while now. I know this is the place where I want to be,” Reed said of UVa.
“It’s a great educational school. I want to have a great job when I leave college. If it’s not football, I know I can get a good job if I have a UVa degree.”
