UVa’s annual 7-on-7 tournament was held yesterday, with competition being held on the fields behind McCue and at The Park. To me, Virginia class of 2015 commitment David Eldridge III was one of the more impressive players on the day.

Eldridge, who attends Kettle Run High School (Nokesville, VA) but plays for the NoVa Elite All-Star squad on the 7-on-7 circuit, primarily played wide receiver early in the day before seeing significant time at cornerback and receiver as the day wore on. He helped NoVa reach the tournament semifinals before falling in overtime to Bishop McNamara.
