Hall, Hill Set Decision Dates (Free)

A pair of in-state rising seniors are ready to commit.

First to announce will be Northside (Roanoke, VA) offensive lineman/defensive tackle Chance Hall, who revealed his final five via Twitter last night. Hall, a 6’4”, 290-pound prospect, had double-digit scholarship offers before he narrowed the field to Notre Dame, Tennessee, Vanderbilt, Virginia and Virginia Tech. He has kept his recruitment close to the chest, so it’s tough to gauge where he may be leaning. He did grow up a Virginia fan.

Hall originally was scheduled to announce his decision on Channel 7 Roanoke at 6, but he revealed this afternoon that the announcement will now take place in Northside High School’s auditorium at 5:30 p.m. The announcement day – Thursday, July 3 – remains the same.

Saturday morning, Salem (Virginia Beach, VA) defensive end Trevon Hill will announce his college choice at 11 on ESPN Radio 94.1. Click here for 94.1’s website, which includes a link to listen live. The announcement will take place on High School Sports Talk with Matt Hatfield and Ed Young.

The 6’3”, 220-pound Hill appeared set to announce between North Carolina and Virginia Tech in May. He decided against it, though, and opened his recruitment back up. Now he appears ready to decide, and once again UNC and Tech are the favorites.
