Rasool Clemons has given a verbal commitment to the University of Virginia football program, giving the Hoos 18 commitments in total in the class of 2015. The 6’6″, 205-pound defensive end, a product of South Aiken High School (S.C.), chose Virginia over reported offers from Kentucky, LSU, Tennessee, West Virginia and others.

Clemons had an excellent junior season, racking up 66 tackles, 19 of which went for a loss. He is rated a 4-star recruit by national recruiting outlets 247Sports and Rivals.com. 247Sports has him as the 16th weakside defensive end in the nation.
