Gary Jennings Sets Two More Official Visits

Colonial Forge (Stafford, VA) 3-star prospect Gary Jennings has taken official visits to Wisconsin and Notre Dame and has scheduled two more officials in January. The 6’2”, 190-pound senior, likely either a wide receiver or safety on the major college level, revealed his visit plans for the weeks leading up to National Signing Day.

A recruiting “Dead Period,” during which time prospects cannot make official visits, is in effect through January 14. Two days later, Jennings plans to travel to Charlottesville for an official.

“I plan to take all of my officials,” Jennings said. “I have two set in January so far (UVA-16th, WVU- 23rd).”

Notre Dame, Virginia, West Virginia and Wisconsin have offered the versatile talent. Wisconsin, though, is sort of a wait-and-see situation at this point given the recent coaching change. Jennings was recruited initially by Gary Anderson, who left the head coaching post in Madison for the same job at Oregon State. The Badgers announced the hiring of former Pitt head coach Paul Chryst just last week.
