Lakeland Christian (Lakeland, FL) outside linebacker Eric Gallon revealed his commitment to the University of Virginia Saturday afternoon. It didn’t take long for the Hoos to add another. Soon after Gallon’s announcement, DE/OLB Naji Abdullah, also a Sunshine State product, announced via Twitter the he also has committed to the Hoos.

The 6’5″, 220-pound Abdullah projects as a rush end/outside linebacker type in the mold of former Hoo Max Valles. The Sandalwood (Jacksonville, FL) product becomes recruit no. 20 in Virginia’s class of 2015. Three of the commits — offensive tackle Grant Polk, Gallon, and now Abdullah — hail from the state of Florida.
Abdullah originally committed to Florida A&M before “flipping” to the Cavaliers.
