UVa Scores Commitment From WR/DB Hasise Dubois

Virginia football has landed commitment no. 19 in the class of 2016.

Hasise Dubois, a 6’3″, 210-pound wide receiver/defensive back out of DePaul Catholic (Wayne, N.J.), has become the latest rising high school senior to commit to the Hoos, announcing his decision via Twitter this afternoon. Dubois, a consensus 3-star recruit, chose UVa over offers from defending national champion Ohio State as well as Boston College, Illinois, Kentucky, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Syracuse and Wake Forest.

Dubois, who is listed by some sites as being 6’4″, has potential as a receiver and as a defensive back. If he sticks on offense, he adds to an already impressive wide receiver class that includes state of Virginia standouts Cole Blackman and Joseph Reed as well as Florida prospect Neru NShaka. As a junior last season, Dubois hauled in 26 receptions for 541 yards and six touchdowns.
