TheSabre.com has confirmed that the University of Virginia football program has received a verbal commitment from rising senior Bryce Hall, a 6’3″, 195-pound wide receiver/defensive back prospect out of Bishop McDevitt High School (Harrisburg, PA).
Hall’s commitment comes over a month after receiving a scholarship offer from UVa, which was the first FBS offer he received.

Productive at the wide receiver position, Hall finished his junior season with 56 receptions for 988 yards and 13 touchdowns. Our sources, however, say Hall is being recruited as an “athlete” with defensive back a real possibility.
A traditional prep power in the state of Pennsylvania, Bishop McDevitt went 14-1 in the 2014 season. This included an undefeated regular season.
With Hall in the fold, Virginia now has 20 commitments in the class of 2016.
