Lakota West (West Chester, OH) class of 2016 cornerback Sean Mahone could be close to making his college choice, Mike Dyer of the Cincinnati Enquirer reports. According to the report, which you can read by clicking here, Kentucky, Purdue, Virginia and West Virginia are the finalists for the 6’0″, 195-pound prospect.
Mahone, who is rated a 3-star prospect by 247Sports and Rivals, is a former teammate of current UVa true freshman linebacker CJ Stalker. He was on Grounds this June for a visit.
UVa currently has 21 verbal commitments in the fold in the class of 2016. The most recent pledge came last week, when Georgia defensive end/outside linebacker Stephen Moye came on board.
