Georgia Linebacker Robert Snyder Pledges To UVa

The University of Virginia football program has landed class of 2016 verbal commitment no. 22. The Cavaliers’ latest pledge is from Robert Snyder, a 6’3″, 220-pound outside linebacker prospect out of Collins Hill High School in Suwanee, Georgia. Snyder announced his decision via Twitter late last night.

Iowa and NC State were among the other schools that offered Snyder, who has started every game — 23 games in total — his sophomore and junior seasons. He is part of a talented linebacker corps at Collins Hill, which also features Virginia Tech-bound rising senior outside linebacker Emmanuel Belmar Jr. Snyder played outside linebacker his junior season but will play in the middle his senior year.

Snyder becomes the third Georgia native to commit to the Hoos in the class of 2016, joining Jordan Mack and Stephen Moye.
