Report: Class Of 2018 Forward To Visit UVa

New England Recruiting Report Editor and ESPN.com contributor Adam Finkelstein reports that Northfield Mount Hermon (MA) class of 2018 wing Nate Laszewski will be at UVa this weekend on an unofficial visit.

Laszewski attended Avon High School (Avon, CT) for two years before transferring to Northfield Mount Hermon, where it appears he has reclassified from the class of 2017 to the class of 2018. Listed at 6’6″, 175 pounds on his Hudl.com profile, Laszewski averaged 20.4 points per game at Avon in the 2014/2015 season, earning Connecticut High School Coaches Association first-team all-state honors in Class L. In this report by the Collinsville Press, Avon head coach Chris Vozzollo said Laszewski has the “versatility to be able to play on both the perimeter and in the post. His skills are extremely polished and the sky is the limit on how far he can take his game.”

The New England Recruiting Report previewed Northfield Mount Hermon’s 2015/2016 squad last month. The report included some info on Laszewski, which you can read by clicking here.

The class of 2018 is shaping up to be a big one for Virginia, which is currently projected to have six scholarships available in the 2018/2019 season.
