UVA Football Hosting A Junior Day

Looking to make further inroads with class of 2017 recruits, the University of Virginia football program is hosting a Junior Day recruiting event for the second consecutive Saturday.

Hampton (VA) junior Elijah Conliffe, a 6’5″, 285-pound defensive line prospect, is on his way to Charlottesville.

Georgia, Maryland, Mississippi, North Carolina, NC State, Penn State, Tennessee, Virginia and Virginia Tech have offered the talented line prospect.

As reported on our EDGE Subscribers Board earlier in the week, Dominion (Sterling, VA) defensive lineman/offensive lineman Tommy Christ also plans to attend today’s Junior Day. The 6’5″, 255-pound junior has an offer from UVA as well as offers from Maryland, Old Dominion, Pittsburgh, Rutgers, Wake Forest and West Virginia.

Out-of-state interior offensive lineman Tyler Fannin, a 6’3″, 290-pound junior, will be in Charlottesville today. Fannin has offers from Cincinnati, East Carolina, Illinois, Kansas State and Virginia, among others. He hails from Mill Creek High School in Hoschton, Georgia.

We have also confirmed that 6’2″, 220-pound running back Darius Pinnix II plans to attend. The Cavaliers offered the Western Alamance (Elon, N.C.) standout, a 1,000-yard rusher and 1,000 yard receiver as a junior, on February 24.

Stay tuned for more visitor confirmations and recruiting updates from today’s Junior Day.
