Buena Park (CA) senior offensive tackle prospect Ryan Nelson obviously felt great about his visit to the University of Virginia this past weekend. One day after returning home from the trip, he revealed some good news for the Cavaliers.

“I will continue my education and career at the University of Virginia,” Nelson announced via Twitter.

The 6’5″, 260-pound senior is being recruited by Virginia as a left tackle. He gives the Hoos four commitments on the offensive line, the Cavaliers’ biggest need position in this class, joining interior linemen Tyler Fannin and Chris Glaser Jr. as well as tackle Bryson Speas.

Nelson, who is rated a 3-star prospect by 247Sports, Rivals, and Scout, also considered scholarship offers from Arizona, Arizona State, California, Central Florida, Colorado, Iowa State, Nebraska, Northwestern and Oregon State, among others. He took an official visit to Arizona the weekend of September 16-18.
