Jallow, Bacot Among Recent Visitors For Virginia Men’s Basketball

Trinity Episcopal (Richmond, VA) sophomore post Armando Bacot and Bloomington North (Bloomington, IN) junior wing Musa Jallow are among the prospects the Virginia men’s basketball program hosted within the past several days.

Jallow last visited UVA one year ago, tweeting on October 8, 2015, that he had an “amazing visit” on Grounds. The 6’5” prospect returned to Charlottesville yesterday, this time having already been offered a scholarship by head coach Tony Bennett. The visit is expected to conclude today.

Butler, Indiana, Northwestern, Purdue, Stanford, and Vanderbilt have also offered Jallow, who has taken trips to Indiana, Michigan State, and Stanford within the past few months.

Bacot, a 6’8”, 235-pound sophomore, along with Qudus Wahab and Darrick Jones Jr. were at Virginia this past Saturday, a busy day for the Hoos in terms of recruiting younger prospects. Wahab is a 6’11” sophomore post out of Virginia Academy (Ashburn, VA), while Jones Jr. is a 6’5” freshman wing out of Millwood School (Midlothian (VA).

Virginia, Georgia Tech, Penn State, and Virginia Tech have offered Bacot.

William Byrd (Vinton, VA) sophomore wing Alex Fitch, a 6’4” prospect, was at UVA this past Saturday. Check out the sweet shooting prospect’s freshman season highlights below.

Per Hooz Got Next on Twitter, DeMatha Catholic (Hyattsville, MD) sophomore point guard Justin Moore was at UVA on Saturday. Multiple outlets also report that 7’0” freshman center Hunter Dickinson, also a product of DeMatha, was there as well. Both prospects have been offered by Notre Dame. Xavier has also offered Moore, whose highlights you can see below.
