Class of 2017 targets Isaac Buell and Shawn Smith plan to take official visits to UVA this weekend.
Buell, a 6’4”, 268-pound defensive lineman out of Knoxville Central (Knoxville, TN), earned Class 4A first-team all-state honors on defense his senior season. The 247Sports.com 3-star athlete boasts over 20 scholarship offers, including Boise State, Harvard, Tulane and Virginia, among others.
Buell took an official visit to Tulane last weekend and appears set to travel to Charlottesville this weekend.

Fresh off an in-home visit with Bronco Mendenhall and UVA wide receivers coach Marques Hagans, Brunswick (GA) standout Shawn Smith also plans to travel to Charlottesville this weekend.

Smith, a 5’11”, 165-pound receiver prospect, originally committed to South Carolina back in April of 2016. He reopened his recruitment last October, and Virginia entered the picture with an offer on December 6.
