Kwiatkowski, who has compiled a 32-7 this season for the reigning ACC and NCAA team champion Wahoos, dispatched Stanford’s Tom Fawcett 6-3, 6-2 to reach the final. Fawcett had not dropped a set prior to the semifinal loss. Kwiatkowski defeated Oklahoma State’s Julian Cash, Vanderbilt’s Daniel Valent, No. 1 seed Mikael Torpegaard of Ohio State and no. 5 seed Christopher Eubanks of Georgia Tech in earlier rounds.

Blumberg (31-2), the ITA National Rookie of the Year, defeated Kwiatkowski in the 2017 ACC team semifinals and then again 2017 NCAA team final. Both were straight set victories. Blumberg defeated No. 2 overall seed Nuno Borges of Mississippi State in straight sets in the semifinals.
