Virginia basketball hosted a trio of top prospects over the weekend, including Kennedy Catholic (Hermitage, PA) junior power forward/center Oscar Tshiebwe and junior shooting guard Maceo Austin as well as Norfolk Academy (Norfolk, VA) 6’11” sophomore Mark Williams. All three were in attendance for the Cavaliers’ home victory over Monmouth.

Tshiebwe, a 6’8”, 230-pound prospect ranked as a 4-star by Rivals and 247Sports Composite, and Williams, who is rated a 4-star by 247Sports Composite, played in the Team Loaded VA AAU program this past spring and summer. Coach Tony Bennett had extended scholarship offers to both prospects prior to this past weekend’s visits.

Austin, a 6’4” guard, announced a scholarship offer from the Hoos while on his visit.

In addition to UVA, Austin boasts scholarship offers from Penn State, Pittsburgh, St. Joseph’s and West Virginia, among others. Check out the standout class of 2019 guard’s highlights from his high school sophomore season below, courtesy of Front Page Scout.
