Report: Cutler Done For The Season

Larry Rubama of the Virginian-Pilot reports that UVa-bound quarterback Corwin “Turtle” Cutler is out for the rest of the season with a torn ACL.  Cutler, a 6’3″, 190-pound senior out of Ocean Lakes High School (Virginia Beach, VA), suffered the injury early on in last week’s Eastern Region Division 6 quarterfinal win over Granby.

Cutler had a huge regular season, throwing for 2,214 yards and 31 touchdowns with four interceptions.  He guided the Dolphins to 10 wins with no losses and a Beach District title.  His replacement for this week’s regional semifinal against Western Branch will be Walter “Churchie” Harold, nephew of Virginia freshman defensive end Eli Harold.
