Notes: Grove was not highly-touted coming out of high school, but he went on to be one of the greatest linemen to play at Tech. He won the Rimington Trophy his senior year, which is given to the best center in the country.

Grove was listed as the #20 prospect in Virginia by The Roanoke Times. Most schools had never heard o him when he committed to the Hokies on July 22, 1997, but he had a huge senior season.
