As Virginia goalkeeper Diego Restrepo sat in front of reporters on Dec. 13 after winning the College Cup Final in penalty kicks, he was asked what it felt like to be a National Champion. His response was perhaps a bit unexpected – he said that it had been a tough year.

“A tough year?” one reporter inquired. “You just won a National Championship!”
