Shamel Bratton and his fellow midfielders are causing lots of problems for opponents.

Shamel Bratton, a junior midfielder on the Virginia men’s lacrosse team, calmly caught an outlet pass from goalkeeper Adam Ghitelman on Saturday and turned to sprint up the field. Bratton avoided a couple of would-be checks, entered the box on the right side of the field, and unleashed a seeing-eye dart into the net to add to UVa’s lead against Johns Hopkins.

Oh, by the way, Bratton did all of that in less than 10 seconds to beat the third quarter buzzer.
