Brian Carroll has scored 84 goals in his career at UVa.

Brian Carroll’s shot is a lot like a cannon blast. Load, crank it back, crow-hop, and let it fly. On second thought, however, a cannon ball is an imperfect description. Carroll’s shot is far too accurate for that. Like former Cavalier Matt Poskay, in fact, it’s darn near automatic for the UVa men’s lacrosse team.

In other words, if Carroll gets his feet set with an open look at the cage, you can pretty much guarantee that the shot will be on-goal to challenge the keeper. He led UVa’s midfielders in 2009 by shooting 32.2%.
