Highland Springs WR Talks Visit, New Offers

Highland Springs (VA) head coach Loren Johnson believed Felton Davis III stood a good chance of receiving a scholarship offer from the University of Virginia this past Saturday, when the class of 2015 wide receiver was in Charlottesville on an unofficial visit. Coach Johnson’s premonition proved accurate.

“This was my first time visiting Virginia,” said Davis, a 6’3”, 180-pound prospect with 4.5-second speed in the 40. “On the offer, I was excited. It was good to hear the offer coming straight from Coach London.”

Davis, who was accompanied on Saturday by his parents and sister, was shown Scott Stadium and took in the Virginia men’s basketball game against Notre Dame. He also spent quality time with the Virginia coaches, including obviously London and receivers coach Marques Hagans.

“He’s a good guy,” Davis said of Hagans. “He’s very cool. I really liked him.”
