Hoos In Final Two For 3-Star LB

Virginia’s defensive front seven has taken a hit this offseason. In addition to senior linebackers Henry Coley and Daquan Romero, the Virginia football program saw junior defensive end Eli Harold and sophomore outside linebacker Max Valles declare for the NFL Draft. The Cavaliers hope to help fill an outside spot with promising class of 2015 prospect Jordan Fox, who has UVa as one of his two finalists.

“He is down to two. He will visit Stanford coming up and then go to Virginia the following weekend,” St. Peter’s Prep (Jersey City, N.J.) head coach Rich Hansen said of Fox, who has been accepted by Stanford admissions and has firm scholarships from both finalists.

“Jordan has gone about this very intelligently. He has taken his time with the process, but I think before he makes a final decision he wants to take official visits to both schools. I think he has a great opportunity at both places. What he is looking for, Stanford and UVa are. They are two really, really good coaching staffs. They are in good locations. They are great schools. They are two football programs that fit him and what he can do.”

Could Fox, who Hansen calls a “tireless worker,” be an outside linebacker/rush end-type on the major college level?
