Park View (South Hill, VA) combo guard Keldon Johnson turned in a terrific performance at the 2015 Virginia Elite Camp, showing why he has become one of the hottest recruits in the class of 2018.

Last Saturday’s outing was the latest of many quality outings Johnson has turned in since beginning his freshman high school season last November. He broke the VHSL freshman single season scoring record at Park View and he kept the top performances coming on the Adidas AAU circuit, earning an invite to the 2015 Adidas All-American Camp in New York.

“I just love the game, and I hate losing. I’m going to do whatever it takes to win. If that means taking the extra pass or diving on the floor, that’s what I’m going to do,” Johnson said when asked about his ability to play at a consistent high level no matter what the stage.

Cincinnati, Georgetown, East Carolina, NC State, Old Dominion, Penn State, Texas, Virginia, Virginia Tech and Wake Forest have responded with scholarship offers for the 6’5.5”, 192-pound recruit, while Florida, Louisville and North Carolina have expressed interest. Johnson says Kentucky is “supposed” to be in contact soon as well.
