UVa extended a scholarship offer to Dillard (Fort Lauderdale, FL) linebacker Kenneth Ruff this past spring. This weekend, the 6’1”, 235-pound senior is reciprocating the interest with an official visit to Charlottesville.

“UVa is a great school academically and has a pretty good football program that caught my eye in both the Notre Dame and UCLA games,” Ruff said.

Georgia Tech, Illinois, Kentucky, Louisville, North Carolina and NC State are among the other schools that have offered the 3-star prospect. Virginia, though, is receiving the first official visit.

“I’m beginning to make my choice and dig deeper into those (schools) I am interested in,” Ruff answered when asked where he stands with his recruitment. Wherever he chooses to go, his plan is to enroll there in January of 2016. Ruff is on track to graduate from Dillard in December.
