The UVA football program hosted Suwannee (Live Oak, FL) all-state senior Trysten Hill on an official visit this past weekend. The 6’3″, 310-pound offensive lineman/defensive tackle enjoyed his experience in Charlottesville.

“My experience at UVA was great. The atmosphere created by the student body, coaches, etc., was great. With that being said I feel great about campus,” Hill wrote in a Twitter direct message.

An AP Class 5A first-team all-state selection on the offensive line his senior season, Hill is being recruited by UVA’s Bronco Mendenhall as a defensive tackle. The Suwannee standout was impressed by the message conveyed by UVA’s new head coach.

“He said everything has to be earned and that is exactly what I’m looking for,” Hill wrote.
