London Perrantes exploded for 25 points and made some clutch plays as UVA defeated Clemson.

Taking a look at the good and the bad from Virginia men’s basketball’s important win at Clemson on January 14.

The Good

London Perrantes was great, actually.

“I’m just trying to get into a mode where I feel like nobody can stop me,” UVA’s senior point guard told Cavalier radio announcers Dave Koehn and Ted Jeffries following UVA’s 77-73 victory over the Tigers.

With the game on the line, Perrantes succeeded in his goal against the Tigers. The Cavaliers’ floor general scored 8 of Virginia’s 12 points in the final five minutes of the game last Saturday, including a personal 5-0 run in the final 2:05 to secure UVA’s third conference win in five tries this 2016/2017.
