Four-star class of 2018 post JRaan Brooks is in Charlottesville for the 2017 NBPA Top 100 Camp. Before the camp, the Garfield (Seattle, WA) product toured UVA and visited with head coach Tony Bennett and assistant coach Jason Williford.

UVA has impressed the 6’8”, 215-pound rising senior after offering a scholarship earlier this spring, and he seems to be enjoying his time in Charlottesville.

“I like it,” Brooks said. “I like the coaching staff. I like Coach Bennett a lot, so I’m definitely probably going to take an official here in September.”

A number of West coast schools are making a strong play for Brooks, who has scheduled September official visits to Pac 12 programs USC (September 2) and Stanford (September 30). Location certainly could end up hurting UVA, though the Cavaliers are in great shape to host the talented prospect on an official.
