The Virginia basketball team hosted its second annual Blue-White intrasquad scrimmage Sunday. Fans packed the John Paul Jones Arena to get a glimpse at the new-look Hoos, who must replace mainstays Malcolm Brogdon, Anthony Gill, Evan Nolte, and Mike Tobey this season.

In the first three 10-minute quarters, the white team edged the blue team in what amounted to an even matchup. White featured Devon Hall, Ty Jerome, Austin Nichols, Isaiah Wilkins, Marial Shayok, Mamadi Diakite, and De’Andre Hunter (he switched to blue for the third quarter). Blue featured London Perrantes, Kyle Guy, Darius Thompson, Jack Salt, Jarred Reuter, and Jay Huff. Watch highlights here.

The fourth and final quarter mostly pitted the freshmen – Guy, Jerome, Hunter, Diakite, and Huff – with Reuter getting a few minutes against Hall, Shayok, Thompson, Salt, and Nichols. Perrantes and Wilkins sat out the fourth. All four quarters used a running clock.

For all four quarters, message board poster rhino tracked Guy with 13 points, Wilkins with 12, and Diakite with 10. Other score tallies included: Thompson 9, Hall 9, Huff 9, Nichols 8, Shayok 7, Perrantes 6, Salt 5, and Jerome 2.
