Defensive End Andrew Brown “Itching” For Increased Role In 2016

Five-star prospect. USA Today First-Team All-American. Under Armour All-American. Gatorade National Player of the Year. The list of accolades Andrew Brown received in high school went on and on. The decorated high school star has yet to live up to the lofty expectations that recognition created at the major college level, though.

With a new coaching staff in place and following a productive offseason, Brown hopes to take a big leap forward. His teammates think that a breakout might be coming.

The 6’4”, 285-pound defensive lineman “has been working really hard,” junior linebacker Micah Kiser said. “I think, towards the end of [the 2015 season], he really got his chance and he made plays. Got his first sack, so he can only go up from there.”

”He’s showing up at every work out killing it,” senior nose tackle Donte Wilkins said. ”I just can’t wait to see what he does this season. He’s going to break out and show the world what they’ve been missing.”
