season on Saturday at the hands of Virginia, Tar Heel fans are beginning to look toward basketball season. As for the
Cavaliers, their third straight win and second straight in the ACC has Virginia one step closer to their goal of an ACC
championship.

While the Cavaliers certainly were impressive in their first ACC road game of the year, it did come at the hands of
the worst ranked defense in the country. That being said, 505 yards on the road in the ACC is a quality performance, no
matter what the situation may be.

Virginia was able to go on the road and dominate, which is something that can’t be emphasized enough, considering
the Cavaliers haven’t played that well on the road in several years. Virginia quarterback Matt Schaub summed it up
best when he spoke to reporters Monday morning.

“It was a great win because it came on the road,” Schaub said. “Almost every [unit] had a good game
out there on Saturday, and that is something you have to do to win on the road. I know we will have to be ready to go
down and play the same way at Clemson next week.”
