George Gelnovatch’s resume as Virginia men’s soccer coach includes eight straight trips to the NCAA tournament. It also includes two ACC titles and five straight trips to the conference championship game. You can also throw in 125 wins to boot.

While that would be a career’s worth of accomplishments for most coaches, it is not enough for Gelnovatch. He wants more. He is greedy. He wants a national title.

With 33 players on his 2004 roster, Gelnovatch thinks he might have all the ingredients in place for a championship recipe.

You can start of with a dash of experience. Yes, the Cavaliers have that in the cupboard. They return all 11 starters from last year.
