On the day, Cavalier quarterbacks completed 12 of 15 passes for 218 yards. They did not throw a touchdown pass, but more importantly, they did not turn the ball over.

As he was a week ago, Marques Hagans was efficient, made solid decisions and completed 83 percent of his passes. He did a fine job of avoiding the rush and creating opportunities when seemingly none existed. He ran the ball at the right time and managed the clock and his offense with poise and confidence.

Christian Olsen went 2 for 2 for only nine yards and Kevin McCabe missed his only attempt, but the backups got more in-game reps and did no damage.
